The gut-brain connection is vital. Nearly 70% of serotonin (a feel good hormone) is produced in the gut. However, that process is truncated when the body isn’t being cared for properly. Moreover, unfavorable bacterial growth in the alimentary canal brought on by poor diet & lifestyle can influence mood in a negative way. All the aforementioned should serve as a reminder to eat healthier, sleep enough, and exercise in moderation.
