This is the story of Emily and her immediate family. Particularly, Emily’s son, Aiden, and younger sister Jordan. They both experienced serious heart complications post COVID vaccination - myocarditis and pericarditis. Today their unfortunate stories will be shared to spread awareness.
To set the table, both Emily’s son Aiden, and Jordan gave permission for their cases to be shared via this publication. That was necessary because many medical documents were included in this article.
Next, after you have read the brief summaries immediately below, please see Aiden + Jordan’s personal stories taken from Twitter listed further down with medical documents for context.
To begin, a timeline needs to be understood. First, Emily’s sister Jordan experienced pericarditis post COVID J&J vaccination. Following that, Emily’s son, Aiden, suffered myocarditis shortly after a 2nd dose of Pfizer.
Jordan’s story:
Emily explained her sisters medical story. She disclosed how her sister Jordan, 26 at the time, had a congenital heart defect from birth, then pace-maker placed at 18. So it’s clear, that means Jordan had a pre-existing heart condition before she received a J&J COVID-19 vaccine.
Regardless, the next day after receiving her shot as a requirement for work, debilitating symptoms like fever, chills, body pain, and nausea plagued her. She then checked in at a local urgent care center where doctors immediately sent her to hospital after they observed tachycardia (very fast heart rate).
At the hospital, Jordan’s assessment revealed many cardiac abnormalities (see below). Fast-forward some hours, cardiac symptoms worsened then doctors diagnosed Jordan with pericarditis (inflammation of the saclike membrane surrounding the heart).
Around 10 hours after diagnosis, she was discharged home with heart medications and told she could only go back to work when she wasn’t experiencing ongoing cardiac symptoms.
Aiden’s story:
Aiden, Emily’s son, age 14 at the time, and previously healthy, received a 2nd dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. Within 48 hours, Aiden awoke in the middle of the night with crushing chest pain on inspiration. At that point, Emily rushed her child to the hospital.
Assessment by emergency department doctors revealed abnormal ECG (test measuring electrical signals of heart), and elevated troponin (an enzyme suggesting heart damage). At that point, Aiden was diagnosed with “vaccine induced myocarditis” and therefore kept for a total of 4 days at the hospital.
By the time of discharge, laboratory findings, and other tests were nearly normal. However, doctors advised Aiden to see cardiology for evaluation and management. They also advised strict rest.
Regrettably, Aidens symptoms were not resolved at discharge. He went home with issues.
Aiden, continued to experience chest pain for sometime. Moreover, he wasn’t cleared for normal activity until at least 4 months after incident.
Below, see a personal account of both Aiden, and Jordan’s stories taken from Twitter with images and medical document for context.
Jordan’s story as told by her sister👇:
My sister’s vaccine induced pericarditis (a thread).
I’ve debated for a long time whether to share this for several reasons, but I talked to my sister JordanxHarris and we both agreed it’s important.
My sweet sister, Jordan, was born when I was 18. You can see the age difference. She’s the beloved baby of the family so it was absolutely devastating when we found out she had a congenital heart defect that required a pacemaker. It was as placed when she was 18.
Fast forward to age 26. Jordan had to be vaccinated for her job. She had been infected with COVID previously but went ahead with the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
She woke up with chest pain, chills, body aches and was advised by her cardiologist to go to the ER… she did. To start, her vitals were abnormal.
They did an echocardiogram (ultrasound of the heart) and saw a pericardial effusion (fluid around the heat). It progressed, then Jordan was diagnosed with pericarditis (inflammation of the saclike membrane surrounding the heart) due to the J and J vaccine.
She can no longer be vaccinated with any COVID vaccines.
I share because it’s not mRNA, she’s not the at risk demographic, and does this hint to a familial/genetic aspect?
Aiden’s story as told by his mother👇:
Today marks a year since Aiden woke me up at 4:30 am complaining of chest pain and pain with inspiration
He was 14. It was severe enough to wake him up from sleep. This was 2 days following his second Pfizer COVID vaccine.
My heart immediately sank and I put my game face on as we headed to the ER. I had been following the data loosely out of Israel. When you combine that with a mother’s instinct, I had a feeling I knew what we were dealing with.
When we arrived at the ER, he was brought straight back for an ECG. The ECG was abnormal. What followed was chaotic. The details escape me, except for the moment that we were alerted that his troponin (test suggesting heart damage) was elevated and that he needed to be admitted to the Acute Cardiac Unit.
The attending cardiologist ordered a battery of tests. All signs pointed to the vaccine being the cause. She consulted with the CDC and his official diagnosis was “post-COVID vaccine myocarditis.”
One of the scariest aspects of this is not know the course it would take.
His troponin quadrupled over night and continued to rise the next day.
It felt like an out of body experience.
By the 3rd day, troponin plateaued and began to drop.
He was able to go home on day 4 on essential bed rest until cardiology follow up.
The enormity of the situation hit me when the shock wore off.
When we got home, he had intermittent chest pain.
Both my husband and I have since confessed to each other that we were worried that he wouldn’t wake up one morning.
At his cardiology follow up, he was restricted more from physical activity including PE (freshman year of high school) or even playing with his friends outside.
He first had to be cleared after rest and a cardiopulmonary stress test. That took 4 months of inactivity.
It was still abnormal likely due to lack of conditioning (low stroke volume and VO2).
We also had to see a pulmonologist for similar reasons based on the results.
There have been so many bumps in the road along this journey that I couldn’t possibly list them all.
So here we are a year later and I think it’s important to reflect.
There are some things I am incredibly thankful for:
-His cardiologist who reported the injury to VAERS (despite what people tell you). They have to.
- His care staff have been amazing
Most importantly, he is doing very well. He is not expected to have any long term damage based on imaging and the course of his acute phase. Also, mentally, he has handled this like a champ.
Wayyyyy better than me..
I have also seen A LOT of ugly. I’m sad to say the bulk of it has come from the Twitter medical community. I find it beyond hypocritical to support a vaccine and deny the existence of the vaccine injured especially with clear causation.
I partially own my role in that. I have been angry and combative as I would suspect most would be in my situation especially after the initial shock wore off.
However, I truly expected some compassion and empathy, instead I was met with labels, accusations and blocks.
I also believed “we were all in this together”. Then the bills started rolling in and I realized that we were in fact alone.
There has been zero paid to date to compensate COVID vaccine injuries and they are expensive.
Here is an article written about Aiden’s case:
My son is being followed by the CDC. Causation could not be clearer and yet.. here were are with thousands and thousands in medical bills, while being thwarted by many in mainstream medical community for telling a TRUE story.
I know AE’s aren’t *convenient* especially when it’s clear I have no agenda other than advocating for my son and others like him.
I don’t fit in the neat “anti-vaxx” box because I’m not.
I’m triple vaccinated. I even took my son to get his. It’s confusing for some.
I am thankful for those of you that I now consider part of my support system as we’ve navigated these rough and uncharted waters.
Thanks for sticking with me even when you don’t agree.
I’ve been as transparent as I can be.
Good, bad, and ugly.
If you want more info on our story, my son does a great job telling it on ACCADA & KOKA podcast.
I also tell my side [click link above/below].
Also, these posts tend to go South… I’m either accused of being an anti-vaxxer or not anti-vaxx enough so I will likely be avoiding the comments and spending time with my son today. Forgive me if I “ignore”.
LETS CONNECT:
I am so sorry for what you went through, and are going through, Emily. I will not increase your pain by calling you anything, other than a mom and a sister who has endured suffering needlessly through what has been done to your family. And I say "done" rather than "happened", because these shots were rolled out by people who should have known, and did know, better. It was not simply "fate" or a bad roll of the dice.
These people need to be held accountable. This includes the scientists, researchers and developers who made them and conducted fraudulent trials; the doctors and hospital administrators who should have adhered to their ethics and informed themselves better; the employers and school and university administrators who mandated and coerced; and the media, bureaucrats and public health officials who pushed this on the trusting public in a psyop of unimaginable proportions.
They must pay with their jobs and licences and reputations. They must be criminally charged. And most of all, you and your son and sister - and all others like you - must be compensated for your suffering. If not with their apologies, then for all the costs incurred.
I think you're a very courageous woman. I command you for your bravery. I totally understand what you mean. I am so sorry for what your family has endured. And i think it's really unexceptional for what they have done to you. You shouldn't have to pay for any medical bills. Keep fighting & keep the faith. God is good & you will be blessed in different ways.
