Politicians did a lot of things because they were sure it would help flatten the curve of COVID-19 during early 2020 through current day. Sadly, it was all guess work, and we were all test subjects.

At no point did I buy any of the measures instituted. Here in Canada, I lived through Trudeau Sr's National Energy Program in 1980. This Marxist whack-job thought that destroying the oil industry was a good idea, and threw tens of thousands of Canadians out of work. Move ahead 40 years, and his *sshole of a son decides that everyone must participate in a massive medical experiment. I said no, and stuck to my guns. I was out of work for 11 months, but I never took the p*ss into my shoulder, and never will. The function destroyed the economy and health integrity of an entire nation that was otherwise doing well. F*ck all those associated with this complete disaster-genocide. There shall be no forgiveness.
When mix ignorance with arrogance you get truly scary results, then if you add PayPal fines of $2500 for wrong speech and wrong thought, then we are truly off the reservation.
