Dr. Fauci just shared an interesting personal experience of his on the news (see clip above). Essentially, he became very ill with Covid, but didn’t follow the science when it came to treating the disease.
To explain, The doctor began experiencing symptoms so he decided to Binax. Well, his home lateral flow test came back positive. Following that, Fauci began taking the antiviral Covid pill Paxlovid as a way to reduce symptoms and shorten his illness. Well, a few days into treatment, Fauci’s lateral flow tests turned negative, however, shortly after, things took a rough turn. Within days of finishing Paxlovid, Fauci became violently ill and another Binax test revealed he was Covid positive again. Following that, he began taking a second course of Paxlovid to deal with the rebound infection.
First and foremost, the EPIC-HR clinical trial data on Paxlovid only shows a benefit for those unvaccinated. The problem, Fauci is 4X vaccinated so that likely explains his severe rebound infection after taking the drug.
Second, there is no randomized control trial data to show efficacy for a 2nd course of Paxlovid when someone rebounds. Be that as it may, Tony Fauci decided to administer himself another round after his rebound.
All and all, for a man that’s supposed to represent “science”, Fauci does very unscientific things like take extra rounds of Paxlovid, and test 4-5 times during illness. Considering the facts, how do you feel about quadruple vaccinated Fauci getting COVID then rebounding after Paxlovid?
