Within the past 24-hours the senate held a monkeypox response hearing. Of course, Dr. Fauci was present and took some flack from Senator Rand Paul, but not for Monkeypox.
That said, Senator Paul grilled Anthony Fauci for downplaying the importance of natural immunity from COVID-19. Interestingly, Mr. Paul played a video clip where in 2000 Fauci claimed, “the best vaccination [was] to get infected”. Ironically, Senator Paul said that was not Fauci’s stance with COVID-19, and because of that stated he denied “basic principals of immunology” during the pandemic.
