Yale Requiring All Students To Sign A Liability Waiver For Their COVID Booster Mandate
See the waiver here
Yale recently began mandating boosters for students on and off campus. Now, all students are required to sign a waiver of liability which releases the university of any legal responsibilities in the event any enrollee is harmed by their mandate. That said, such a policy is nonsensical for a plethora of reasons.

To begin, it is unlikely you could make a college student healthier by requiring them to vaccinate against COVID-19, but you could certainly give them myocarditis. Sadly, those at highest risk for the previously mentioned vaccine side effect happen to be healthy college aged kids. Particularly, males between the ages of 16-24, and certainly under 40. Moreover, the largest risk is associated with a 2nd dose of both Moderna and Pfizer.
You see, myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle which can lead to lethal arrhythmias, and heart failure. Even after the acute phase has resolved there is a probably of late gadolinium enhancement.
You should know, late gadolinium enhancement is scaring of the heart after myocarditis. It is usually caught by MRI and observed in nearly 44% or more of all post-myocarditis patients1. The problem, it increases the probability of mortality for sufferers by over 30% within 3 and 10 year window after the initial insult.
As a final word on myocarditis, the graph below indicates that age groups at highest risk have greater chances of developing the condition after vaccination compared to getting it after COVID2.
As a lesson, let’s not forget those that handle a brush with the virus best are young. That said, there are none healthier than college students and for that reason, booster mandates requiring them to sign a waiver are absurd.
While the topic is being discussed, it would only be responsible to disclose what other countries are doing to reduce the occurrence of myocarditis after vaccination in young college aged kids. Without further ado, other places are averting risk in 4 ways.
First, many places are allowing young health college kids to forgo the primary series and booster by Moderna3. Many countries like Finland, Sweden, Denmark, etc are not allowing individuals under 30 to receive the shot from this manufacturer as the risk of myocarditis is too high.
Second, certain countries are only giving 1 dose4. In places like Germany, Italy, etc, 1 dose and a brush with COVID earns you a fully vaccinated status and a reduced risk of myocarditis.
Third, if requiring two doses, many countries are leaving 3 months time in between shots5. Newer studies have found this to reduce the occurrence of severe symptoms after COVID-19 vaccination.
Forth and finally, many are stopping the mandates altogether. Just so it’s clear, these mandates are illegal in certain US states.
⏪ Let us backtrack to Yale’s flawed booster policy and why it’s problematic. You see, mandating boosters then making students sign a liability waiver creates a legal inequity. That is to say, the university wants all the benefits of a fully vaccinated student body, with none of the risk. Many would consider that sadistic. To explain, a liability waiver is an admission of guilt. Specifically, the salient fact that Yale created this document implies they understand there are substantial harms associated with their policy, yet they continue to coerce students by holding their education hostage and leaving them in harms way. See the waiver below 👇.
Finally, and arguably the biggest problem. Yale is a pillar of the scientific community, yet their waiver requirement would lead you to believe otherwise. Please understand, along with their monumental status trails a long line of followers who will likely implement the same waiver into their universities COVID-19 vaccine policy. After all, many mimic those with outstanding reputations. That said, Yale is setting a dangerous precedent.
All things considered, it is disgraceful and cowardly Yale is attempting to avert legal liability from their own vaccine policy by forcing students to sign a waiver. It is unethical that a student would need to sign away their safety to be afforded an education. Be that as it may, i’ll leave you a quote from one of my previous articles. “…most historical evils of great magnitude were executed by those who believed their actions were benevolent.” That said, do you support Yale’s booster waiver?
